I have my own architectural and design studio in Örebro , Sweden. I work together with a multi- disciplinary team that includes Studio A architects and engineer Per-Åke Asplund. Lighting, colour and form are important components of my design work. I have several areas of specialisation - spaces for learning, restauration and designing for sustainability. Projects with spaces for learning include the design of schools and exhibiton spaces in museums. I have had exhibition work in Sweden, Scotland and Florida, USA. Currently, I am engaged in the design of exhibitions about climate change and its effect on extreme weather at a new centre in Ljungby, Sweden. I am particularly interested in the restauration of historical buildings and other small scale projects where quality of design are required. Other projects include the design and conversion of private housing. I received my architectural education at the Bartlett School of Architecture, University College, London. Afterwoods I worked at the Department of Education and Science, London. I was later employed for 13 years at Brink architects in Sweden where I worked with a large variety of building and interior design projects. I then became a partner in Alton architects where I mainly worked with the small scale restauration of historic buildings. I have now had my own architectural practice for 10 years.
