Collaborative Office for Design & Architecture
CODA was established in 2005 as a five architects collaboration office and a discourse platform in reinterpreting post-millennium models of education, design and branding of architecture and the city. CODA’s propositions are regarded as intervention against its surrounding. The socio-political-economical context is consumed as evidence in advocating the limits of possibilities, while the indigenous art, craft and the neighboring terrain milieu are the invisible source and muse that yields the shape of CODA’s architecture. CODA’s core business is to ‘design and build’ small-scale residences and bungalows. At present, CODA is expanding its vision and is venturing in rural educational projects, product inventions and associative design as subsidiary proponents of the company. CODA’s work has won awards, publicized in radio and TV, published in architectural magazines and lectured in international and local conferences related to the field.
